Ms. Katharine Frey received her training from international teachers at Indiana Univeristy, School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre School and Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Ms. Frey went from high school into a profession career dancing with Atlanta Ballet, Wisconsin Ballet, seven years with Milwaukee Ballet and sixteen years with Ballet Arizona. She has taught children for thirty-eight years. After retiring from dancing she was the rehearsal director for Ballet Arizona.
Ms. Frey has taught for the Academy of Classical Ballet since its inception in 2005, specializing in pointe, variations and original choreography.
Scott Martin's dance highlights include a M.S. in Ballet Performance from Indiana University, professional appearances with the Pittsburgh Ballet, and the position as Director of the professional company Ballet Arizona. Madame O'Kelley's extensive dance career began in France at the Academie de Danse Classique' d' Arcachon. She graduated from the Imperial Scoiety of Teachers of Dancing in London and her profession appearances include the Grands Ballets Canadiens, les Ballets de Marseille Canadial Tour. Kristenís initial training began in various local studios in the Phoenix area. She was accepted into Physical Graffiti, the dance company at Glendale Community College, and completed her dance training with a B.A. in Dance and Education at ASU, which included modern, ballet, production, choreography, rhythmic theory, kinesiology, dance history, and dance pedagogy. Prior to teaching, Heather's professional ballet career spanned over twelve years, working first with The Hartford ballet then Nevada Ballet Theatre and finally Ballet Arizona. Some highlights of Heather's repertoire include classicall ballets such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Ramomda, Les Sylphides, and many versions of the Nutcracker. For the last 7 years, Heather continues to enjoy passing her knowledge and experience down to young, eager bodies and minds. When she is not teaching, Heather's ultimate enjoyment is caring for her two young daughters.
Juliana Fisher trained in her hometown of Phoenix under Katharine Frey, Madame O'Kelley, and Scott Martin of ACB, as well as with the Arizona School of Classical Ballet. She received her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma, graduating summa cum laude with honors and a Spanish minor. She has danced with Oklahoma Festival Ballet and professionally with Convergence Ballet Company, Dance Canvas, and the Georgia Ballet. Juliana has been teaching ballet to students of all ages and levels throughout her professional career. She returns to Phoenix to dance with Terpsicore Dance Company.
